Features
Revised head and skeletal reconstruction based on additional material.
Fukuisaurus tetoriensis was a herbivorous iguanodontian known from the Kitadani Formation in Katsuyama, Fukui Prefecture. The Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum describes revisions to its skeletal reconstruction, including head shape, based on additional forelimb and skull material.
Scientific uncertainty
Additional material can revise the reconstruction. Direct evidence of body covering and coloration is limited. The illustrated head outline and whole-body proportions have not been confirmed to match the museum’s revised skeletal reconstruction. Colour, soft tissues and posture in the reconstruction include inference.
