Features
Long neck, Whip-like tail.
An NHM article explicitly about Diplodocus carnegii gives a length of 24–26 metres and an estimated mass of up to around 15 tonnes. That mass is not treated as a universal typical value.
Scientific uncertainty
Neck posture and tail function remain uncertain. The strongly curved tail in the illustration represents one reconstructed scene, not conclusive evidence of a habitual posture or function. Up to about 15 tonnes is an estimate, not a typical mass.
