Suchomimus tenerensis was a spinosaurid known from Niger. Its crocodile-like head and large forelimb claws were distinctive features.

Scientific uncertainty

Dependence on aquatic habitats and swimming ability need not have matched those of Spinosaurus. Colour, soft tissues and posture in the reconstruction include inference.
